I was looking for HP amp enclosures. I would like to have a good Hammond enclosure source. My main concern is: I am in the USA and they are in Europe. I ordered something from China once and it took more than a month to arrive!

If hammond cases are what you are after, why not just order from one of the many US companies. Mouser has the popular 1455 Aluminum enclosures, and there are many sources for the other cases hammond makes. Elfa has some nice stuff, but I would imagine shipping would be quite high, especially for large cases.

If Mouser or Digikey don't have it, try Allied (www.alliedelec) or Newark. I know Allied actually stocks them, whereas Digikey orders them in.
