I have an interest in getting this perfect because I do enjoy the sound from these when EQ'd. My starting EQ sounded good but what it evolved into sounds loads better but I feel like I might be missing something. Here is that EQ from Equalizer APO:

kzzsnproapo.PNG
GraphicEQ: 20 -12.5; 37.8 -12.8; 63 -12.8; 100 -12.8; 157.5 -12.2; 200.1 -10.2; 250 -7.4; 315 -5.1; 500 -1.9; 636.2 -0.6; 798.1 -0.1; 979.5 0.2; 1237.9 -0.1; 1496.8 -1; 1809.5 -2.2; 2169.5 -4.2; 2516.6 -5.8; 2919.4 -7.4; 3303.8 -10.9; 3769.9 -14.7; 4162 -18.9; 4749.1 -21.1; 5374.5 -17.3; 5836.5 -12.5; 6338.3 -6.7; 6826.6 -2.2; 7854.1 -3.5; 8742.9 -8.3; 10059 -7.7; 11695 -5.2; 13340 -8.8

I know I neglected refinement in the bass and >15KHz frequencies as my focus was almost completely on the 1-10KHz range. I feel like it's like 95% there but isn't perfect yet, and obviously I can do better getting the extremities correct as I'm pretty sure the bass needs refinement. Right now I just get a sense something isn't forward enough somewhere in the treble but it's really difficult to increase something without making it too noisy, which then makes me think maybe it is just a slightly too forward bass making the treble overall sound veiled despite being balanced relative to itself.

edit:

I think this hits some of those places I thought were too veiled:
GraphicEQ: 20 -12.5; 37.8 -12.8; 63 -12.8; 100 -12.8; 157.5 -12.2; 200.1 -10.2; 250 -7.4; 315 -5.1; 500 -1.9; 636.2 -0.6; 798.1 -0.1; 979.5 0.2; 1237.9 -0.1; 1496.8 -1; 1809.5 -2.2; 2151.6 -3.8; 2516.6 -4.8; 2919.4 -6.7; 3358.8 -9; 3769.9 -12.5; 4127.8 -17; 4710.1 -20.2; 5286.6 -16.3; 5741 -10.6; 6286.2 -5.1; 6883.2 -1; 7789.6 -2.9; 8742.9 -5.8; 10059 -7; 11383 -2.2; 13425 -8.6

edit 2: Second EQ is still too forward in the upper treble. I think I was getting caught up going band by band with small widths which makes it easier to believe there is too much noise. I setup a 12-band EQ to compliment the main and found it easier to figure out what was wrong, mainly too much in very highs and still not enough in the 4KHz area. No EQ yet on that but I will say most of the second posted EQ is within like 5db of neutral.
