I like playing chess online and my favorite site is FreeChess.org. My registered name there is "TwentyMinutes", and my rating is usually around 1450. Anyone else here play chess online?

I used to compete in chess in high school as part of the chess club. I was the best in my school but once we went out to tourney I got pwned

At my peak I was around 1340, but now I'm sure my skills have dropped since my college doesn't have much of a chess club and I haven't played seriously in 3 years.

I play chess on Yahoo games every now and then.

That site sounds cool, I have to check it out later.

I just tried it and it has a pretty quick and good looking interface. I like it.

i used to play on yahoo, but stopped once it was obvious my opponents were botting. i mean, where's the enjoyment of having a chess program play your game for you? just so you can raise your yahoo ranking? sigh.

I have been on and off Caissa's for as long as I can remember.
Too bad they did the stupid mistake of making a new and worse site. Now the small crowd is split between the two.
The old one wasn't anything fancy, but it worked.
They didn't close the old one though, but renamed it to caissaclassic.com

I use an alternative user interface when playing chess at FreeChess.org. It's called "Thief" and it is found here. I prefer how it looks and works. It probably works with other online chess sites too.
