All,

Just interested in any opinions out there comparing HeadFive and Aria. Any insights? I've heard that Head5 is a warm sounding amp....warmer than Aria?

What about general characteristics? Details and Resolution? Neutrality? How do the two compare?

I don't have an Aria to compare. I can tell you however that the H5 is a resolving amp with sound that leans towards some warmth and bass bloom. It has the ability to "bring you closer to the music" (some have termed it "more real" and "tubey" - which are quite correct to me too). I don't think it is a neutral amp however as it imparts a warmth character into the chain of sound.
