I went around the local thrift shops today and I found these behind some dusty books. I had never heard of the brand but they had a cool shape to them and the side volume sliders were too awesome so I snatched them up for $5!
 
They are not very comfortable but they work fine and sound ok.
 
After a few google searches all I have found is a couple nova 16 on ebay were the seller claims they are "vintage" and one or two people like me on other forums who have found realistic nova headphones asking for info but not this model. I also found  old radio shack ads in pdf format from the 70's that have nova 15 and 20 headphones in them but not these.
 
Does anybody know anything about these beauties?

I think I've heard of those... Sorry I can't tell you anything about them though. Try asking the vintage experts in this thread.
