Hi guys, I just saw these portables on a Swedish website, so I looked up Urbanistas website to get some more info.
I like the look of them, tangle free flat cable, clean metal design etc, but I have no idea if they're actually good or not. This is the first time I hear about this brand.

Has anyone tried the portables, or anything else from Urbanista? What's your opinion on their stuff?
Better or worse than the Porta Pros?

There's even some kind of a chart at their page, however since I have no idea what that actually means, I'll let someone else explain. I hope that chart can tell us if they're supposed to be good or not.

The price (over here) seems to be about 80-100 USD depending on where you buy them.

Some pics of the portables I'm interested in:

Edit: Found a review that pretty much says the SQ sucks... :frowning2:

Judging by the FR graph of the headphones you have above, it rolls off treble (and higher mids), otherwise it's balanced.  This can be disasterous or really good, I guess it was disasterous :p  I'm more interested in these, but the bass roll-off looks like it's a little much though.  Looks more analytical to me though: http://us.urbanista.com/collections/headphones/products/los-angeles

Those are some of the scariest FR curves I've seen in my life :/

I swear iBuds have it better.

Hmm, I have them and think they sound all right... or actually very good for beeing a open headphone.

The base is good and the middle is clear and crisp. The high notes might be a little to hard on some electro pop tunes.

Give them a chance is what I would say...
