Hello guy's and gal's, am in the market to buy a new portable cd player that I can use my new Ety's as well as my new JMT headphone amp with. Am willing to spend at most 100 dollar so does anyone have any suggestions...thanks. Oh optical out would be an added plus would prefer a good line-out more than anything I think.

Do you care about skip protection and battery life? That will effect your choice greatly.

Antiskip yes considering that am using this gear on the subway and stuff as for battery life another yes I would get...don't have to be amazing but 20+ would be great.

Try getting yourself a Sony D-EJ915 from Ebay to fit your preference. Don't expect a good quality headphone out of most recents unit. With your JMT....you are on the way to a terrific sounding setup.
