Hi guys,
I am in to Rap/R&B/Hip Hop Music production with FL studio. I do not yet know what sort of equipment I would need. This is going to be a slow start so I wil be not using a mixer externally to mix stuff. Instead I wil be using a microphone and a headphone and do the recording and monitoring work(FOR NOW)
I picked up SHURE 440 as my first headphone as it falls in to my price range(Not yet purchased)
What sort of advise you guys can give me in this direction? I would be doing this for fun for the moment but I need the music to sound professional? Is there any settings in FL studio that has to be fixed in order to mix master and things like that. Cos sometimes the samples in FL studio do not sound well.
Can you please post a few advise, guidelines and working directions as I am a complete beginner in the field of mixing but I do make really nice music and do have a good voice(Others can listen to what I sing lol)
Many thanks and wait for your kind responses.
