I had purchased a Panasonic SL489 for use at the gym, and, of course, dropped it (caught my hand on the headphone cord, sent it flying off the back of the treadmill). Anyway, the radio portion of it still works fine, but when I put a disc in all I get is the "No Disc" message. I'm wondering if there is anything I can check and get this thing fully operational. my guess is you knocked the laser out of alignment. this can be repaired, but sometimes it is more cost effective to just buy a new pcdp. you may also want to keep your pcdp in a bag over your shoulder in the future.
