Besides the stealth. If I could get the stealth for it's intro price, I might consider it, but as is, that's a bit out of my league. I'm upgrading my 2 channel and I figure I'll see if I can kill 2 birds here, so I'm open to suggestions. thanks

One of the Melos pre/head amps is a classic suggestion. Its not the newest or coolest, but it does a damn fine job. They are usually available on Audiogon for a reasonable price. If you can get one modified by our very own Melos guru, Carlo, then you're way ahead of the game.

wooaudioI. I haven't heard it yet, but I will in 2 days. Also customizable like the SinglePower amps.

The Eddie Current hd 300 amp is a headamp/ preamp combo. I doubt that its in the stealth's league as a preamp though. Hopefully I will soon find out how well it does as a preamp.

I'd be interested in seeing the wooaudioI compared to the eddie current hd300. The prices are practically identical.

Yeah, me too. Actually I'd love to be able to sit down with a PPX-3, Woo Audio and Eddie Current HD300.

Yeah, that would be the ideal comparison, maybe throw in a comparable priced PPA too.

Except I kinda don't really want to know because I already sank my money into the wooaudioI

Yeah, that's right! Make sure you post impressions! Damn hobby. I love my PPA but I'm thinking I might have to add a tube amp to my system, damnit.

Why don't you look into Cary SLP-88 and SLP-2002.

You may like what you hear.
