After a long wait i have finally have money to get thos hpp1. I am currently using it for ipod classic 80gb model. And what format should i put the song in the ipod. Was also wondering will this amp dac improve the music that i bought from itunes? Where can i get hq songs.

1st of all congratulations on the purchase! The HP-P1 is a truly great device.
 
If you're using the official apple ipod firmware then i suggest loading it up with ALAC music files. These are the same as FLAC/lossless music files. As to your other question i'm not sure if it will improve music you bought from itunes as far as i can remember those are compressed and downsized MP3. It may even "highlight" irregularities and imperfections from those files IMHO.
