I'm going to be doing a pretty radical mod to a pair of either T40rp Mk3 or T50rp Mk3. I am going to try to house them in a set up like the Stax Sigma.
This will be my first headphone mod besides removing some foam and grills from some old sennheisers, and making a tiny cable.
Does anyone have quick tips on what to do or look out for when modding these? (I.e. Watch out for dust, don't take the driver apart, be careful when connecting the wires or you'll fry the driver, don't completely seal the driver or it may rupture due to pressure, etc etc).
Thanks! Any links would be helpful too. I'm not very knowledgeable in headphone electronics or terminology so the Fostex modding thread usually goes over my head, but i'm a quick learner when I'm actually doing the stuff myself.
