I’ve have been using a piece, Charter Oak PEQ-1, in both my headphone chain and loudspeaker chain for years now. I LOVE IT. I use it for tone control. It’s a broad Q mastering EQ. I have two friends over at Audiogon who have followed my passionate writings about this and have “taken the leap”. They both have very high end systems and both love the pro studio piece in their gear. Anyone doing this in their headphone chain? And I’m not interested in the Schiit equalizers. I’ve compared them and they are inferior sonically.
