I have the 4p and converter to 4s (thanks D Pumphrey), and I am seriously considering getting the ER-6.

I'd be using them totally portably (without an amp), likely out of a MZ-r700, and I'd like to use them at the gym.

I'd like to know if anyone has gotten them yet, and if so, could you comment on:

1. Microphonic Cord Effects: do they transmit TONS of sound being bumped?

2. Isolation: do they have as much isolation as the 4p/s? How about the ex70?

3. Sound: do they sound killer?

4. Volume: can they be adequately driven by a portable?

I'll probably pick them up, anyway, but I am very curious. TIA.

I am looking at them for almost exactly the same use, well except for the gym. I have the MZ-R700 also. Make sure to keep us posted if you do get them I am dying to hear about these. I was looking for some good portables but I couldnt see spending $270 for portable headphones. I would fear them getting lost. Now $117 sound much better for this purpose.

Shouldn't these be done? Todd said they were going to be available for purchase at the upcoming Head-Fi meets.
