To me 4G is small. All beatles albums with 192k exceed 1G.
Anybody knows if apple has a plan for ipod mini with larger hdd?

I'm sure they will be bigger at some point but they can't keep up with demand for the 4GB version at the moment. I think you just want a regular iPod.

Eventually there will be, but for now, Apple has a load of issues to take care of before a bigger mini HD. For starter, the mini's headphone jack's bugging a lot of people.

It's not really up to apple... they just put the biggest type II flash card manufactured inside the thing and sell it.
Until Hitachi makes a bigger one, you won't see bigger.

You'll be better off buying a 15Gb, 20Gb or 40Gb Ipod depending on your storage needs and budget of course.
