Are you just using a y-splitter to wire to speakers?  I have powered speakers.
 
Only the Lyr comes with a line out--and they are too much juice for my Phillips X1 headphones...
 
So the only option I see is a Y-splitter.

If you have powered speakers, put the y-splitter on your source.  One set goes to the Asgard and one set goes to the speakers.  You do not want to pass the headphone jack signal to your speakers.

yeah, of course, that's what i meant.  splitters from the bifrost so it goes out to the speakers and to amp.
