Any other Iron Man fans here?

It was a really good and really enjoyable movie. Great action sequences. Light on the character development. Just what a mindless, action, comic book movie should be. Make sure you stay until after the credits.

Hollywood is only highlighting its intellectual and creative bankruptcy by strip-mining the comics universe.

This movie is getting rave reviews everywhere pretty much. I cannot wait to see it. Not a huge fan of Iron Man but love comic book movies.

The Dark Knight will kick ass too

I begrudgingly have to admit that Iron Man is easily one of the best superhero movies to date in my book. Why do I say "begrudgingly"? Because I went to elementary school with RDJ and he was already a major $#%!#@ back then and I try to avoid his movies. I think he was perfectly cast for the part.

Hints have already been dropped but I will say outright - sit through the credits. You won't be disappointed.

Yea, but at least it means I get to see my favourites in new movies, and awesome figures get released.

It annoys me when they either ignore (DareDevil) or bastardize (Spiderman) the comics, but when done right (IronMan) it's awesome.

Why not the Submariner? So the studio's can hype it up, & claim how popular & great he is..

I'd love to see a powerman & Ironfist film.. & a remake of Daredevil.. They fooled around with DD a bit too much.. He doesn't hop from building to building like spiderman & kill the high flying martial arts bit..

Saw it yesterday. Best superhero movie I've seen since X2.

Robert Downey Jr. was perfect for this role - the comedy breaks really enhanced the film that much more.

The effects are terrific, the suit looks amazing.

Go see it, you won't be disappointed.

Your both right on the spot! Hollywood has been patting itself on the back while churning out pure crap for quite some time now. If I want to see a good artsey film I will look towards the small independent makers. But for big budget special effects heavy hitters, Hollywood couldn't do better then turning to comics/graphic novels/sci fi for ideas, especially since "holywood" other wise is a creative void.
