I leave remote control duty to my mobile phone:

Salling Software - Salling Clicker for Windows

Salling Software - Salling Clicker for Mac

Works perfectly, so long as your source is a PC or a Mac.

Means you can choose whatever amp you like.

I have it in my head that you really don't want to run the audio out of your PC at anything less than 100%. Not sure if that is an old audio wive's tale or a really significant thing. I can use my Windows MCE remote and check it out though. Good idea either way. Thanks.
