This only happens in the dark or at night while driving...

I'm occasionally seeing a faint ring of light around streetlamps, car lights, ect out of my left eye. Don't notice anything in the daytime, and it's not always there at night... but I'm definitely seeing a faint ring. Any suggestions?

Definitely not getting enough rest. I'm 43.

I know this is a problem for certain people who's Lasik surgery didn't go all that well. Unless you've had the surgery, I'm guessing that the problem may be caused by a lack of sleep.

This site seems informative.

looks like glaucoma or hypoglycemia (SP) according to this. Halos show up as a symptom of several variances of both.

Hmm.... wonder if the hypoglycemia would explain why I always seem tired.

Actually sounds like astigmatism, a common finding, but what do I know, I'm only a derm.

That ... or the fact you're 43 and don't get enough sleep.

I'm certain that many of head-fi's resident medical advice givers like myself would be happy to prescribe some medication for you, but you might want to see an opti ... an opta ... an eye doctor for a second opinion.

Seriously though, you should get that checked out soon.
