Anyone know of Opera music in 24/96 or similar?
 
Vinyls are getting raspy and CDs sound cold and lifeless.
 
Obviously i'm looking to buy, not pirate, but i'm starting to doubt the material is available at all so no point in naming favorites i'm especially interested in; everything's welcome.

Solti's Ring is available in a deluxe box set with a high bitrate bluray. Just about every opera bluray has good sound in 5:1.

But I would bet if you took a good CD of a London label opera, like one of Boynage's with Sutherland and Pavarotti and played around a bit with a good equalizer, you'd solve that "cold and lifeless" problem. I have thousands of opera CDs and they sound fantastic on my system.
