Any News from Audio Technica These days?

I mean Sony's launching there new TOTL, Hifiman just released yet another High End Can, and the Alpha Dogs been out for some time now too, that and Even Seenhesier has rumors floating around
 
any on heard anything positive from Audio Technica about a new TOTL
 
yea there's the what W3000 ANV, but It seems to "colored" to compete with the new breed of transparent cans
 
Still any one hear any rumors lately?

I've no news on AT flagships on the horizon.
 
However, if and when they do, I hope that they don't go for a 'transparent' headphone. The 'coloured signatures' of the AT models (at least the ones I've tried) are what attracts me to them, and provides a nice contrast to other headphones in my collection / on the market. (ymmv)
 
Also I thought AT's TOTL was somewhat unique as they have one for their AD, A, W- series - the TOTL of the latter series may also be up for debate
 
I also hope they don't mess too much with the '3-d wing head band' design too much. I'm sure many will disagree (and I understand why they might), but it fits my head fine, and I find it very comfortable.

I agree, I love the wing system, I guess I can kinda see the appeal of the colored, but I'd really love to hear an L3000, I think that's still their end game TOTL
