Hi! I bought myself a 5G Ipod video but was unhappy with the distortion so I mp3gained all my music. Because of this I now have to increase the volume of my Ipod to about less than half way on the volume bar which drains the battery. I've tried using eupod but that completely buggers itunes which resets all my music on my Ipod everytime it connects with itunes or when I try to add albums manually.

Does anybody have any suggestions on how to uncap the Ipods volume?

Im saying that MP3gaining your Ipod decreases the volume and I need to find out how to bring it back to normanl!

use "max no-clip gain for album"

I'd be surprised if you could tell a difference in the battery life.

I use to use 92db, and that wasn't too bad, but I had a few songs still clipping so I went back to 89db.

Max no clip is good if you don't mind songs at different levels.

get a line out and use an amp. Its the best solution. It sounds the greatest to my ears!
