A few months back, someone posted a link to $20 diy rca cables. They sorta looked like tape with rca plugs. . .
Any (interconnect) help?

These are not shielded. Make sure there is no RFI problem in your house.

I don't have my stereo next to anything really. I mean, its just the cmoy(soon to be Morgan Jones/MG head?), denon 370, and hd580s. I have a clock radio about 6 feet away. Would this influcence this at all?

Electro-Magnetic Interference (EMI) is local, from other equipment near to the cable or units -- electrical wiring, cable-TV wiring, electrical motors, audio equipment, computers, etc.
Radio-Frequency Interference (RFI) comes from radio broadcasting. Those waves are all over the place. You can run but you can't hide.
