I see on the Wadia page they have the new Wadia 9 computer system? What's that EXACTLY (obviously a DAC is involved)?

Also it seems like they are updating the 861 and transport?

Anybody got the scope?

See the recent Wadia threads for more info. The new players use a universal transport for SACD playback.

The 921 system is a dual mono DAC system. Very expensive but word is it sounds pretty good

I'm pretty sure that's what I've heard when we were at Wadia. If that's the case, it sounds DAMN good!!

You may have heard the PowerDAC system. Those were $80,000 integrated DAC / power amplifiers. They are pretty sweet too.

Are the new Wadia's using the TEAC Esoteric VRDS transport mechanism?
