I want to try and champion some support to provide our hobby to some who have given us freedom. It doesn't have to be US only. Other countries could do the same with their solders.
Anyway, I thought providing a modest portable rig or even a desktop rig to a bed ridden solder would help their trials and we could do something about it.
This is an interest check and would like to see if we (community) can organize a program that would support this. Donors, meets, vendors, etc. could support a program and let the group submit who, where and when the vets get their gift.
If this is not an appropriate venue to try and put this together, remove or give direction on proper approach with the community.
