I use an old cell phone (offline) and a pair of sporta pro's when I walk every night. It's an ancient phone with a weak headphone out. I could use about one more click on the volume to be totally satisfied. I don't want 10 feet of wires stuffed into my pocket, or the extra bulk of piggybacking an amp onto the rear of my phone.
So, are there any headphone amps small enough to plug-in and sit directly on the headphone jack of my phone?
I've noticed that there are bluetooth receivers designed to plug directly into the aux port of a vehicle, or directly into analog headphones with removable cable to convert them to bluetooth. These are pretty small, and have more circuitry than an amp. Something close to this size would be perfect if it were a headphone amp.
