Looking out my window and seeing all the smoke, I was wondering if any Head-Fiers have been affected by the wildfires. I'm in Anaheim, and it is currently raining ash. I am supposed to go see Minus the Bear in Pomona tonight, but I don't even know if I can make it because of all the freeway closures.

My prayers go out to everyone who have been affected.

Well, not directly affected, but I saw the clouds of smoke and it seems to be nearing. I can only pray that it'll stop before it nears where I live.

Um, at my college, the clouds are pretty ominous here, and already I know one person whose house burned down yesterday morning. Arson or not, right now it's just a tragedy that needs to be put out before it spreads any further.

Here at UCLA I just smelled smoke, though on the highway yesterday I saw some hills on fire.

mm I just realized I'm about a mile away from evacuation zones.. Oh well, I think I'll be fine because the fire is nowhere near, but i hope school is closed, or else it'll be hell going with the traffic like this..

couldn't go to riverside yesterday because the highways are all blocked
