I've heard nothing but negative reviews about wireless headphones. I grew up using my fathers old wireless set which I have to say was like listening to music through a cellphone. I want to say they were Sony too because everything (when it came to the stereo) was Sony.

So I am just wondering are there any good ones worth investing in?

AKG makes a set of reputedly fabulous wireless headphones, however they do not come cheap.

The best set of wireless headphones I've heard personally are the Sennheiser RS45, the bottom of the range model of their previous generation product line and I thought them more than reasonable for what they were, which was a half decent headphone without a cord. I can only assume that the RS120/130/140 are better.

AKG Hearo 999s are the best 'true' wireless headphones. Of course, you could always snag a pair of your favourite cans, and make a wireless adapter w/ a battery pack, but thats a DIY thing.
