Huh? No, sure it does "run", it just not likely to work properly. And how should it? It takes roughly 1mbit to stream Apple Lossless to the APX (and AirTunes does employ ALAC), and maybe you have what, a 2mbit internet connection (thinking lower end), plus you have say two computers on the network... all these connections coming with their own overhead... it adds up, and there simply is not enough bandwidth for an uninterrupted stream.

yup, what oliver said... it'll run, but it will (imo) be unstable...

heck, "b" networks are unstable even without attempting to stream...

on topic, i like this setup more and more by the hour... i should have done something like this awhile ago...

anyone looking for a sacd/dvd-a player?

Great to hear that there are other AirPort Express lovers out there.
Its such a small and enjoyable unit. Makes a great part of my headphone and speaker rigs.
