Looking for some nice prices on the akg k550 now, I dont like ebay because it feels a bit scammy to me.

I've bought over 300 times on eBay, been ripped off twice.
HarmanAudio (AKG), sells refurb K550s with factory warranties on eBay, my winning bid was $180.

I've only bought one refurb headphone, the K550s (from HarmanAudio), And the K550s looked like they were in "new" condition.
If the refurb K550s get a lot of return for defects, someone at HarmanAudio is going to get in trouble from their boss. So I feel safe buying from the original manufacturer.

Yeah I was thinking about that, but I read some stuff about how I could just bend them. It's surprising how many options you don't have for headphones in <200 and below with my specs

The key when buying on ebay is buying from high rated sellers. I have done that without a problem...
 
Amazon US also have the K550 for $211, you can wait if there's a price drop.
