I have a delima... I have ripped about 700+ CD's yielding somewhere in the neighborhood of 10,000 tracks into my computer (and Yes, I do own the CD's!) I used 128 bit WMA format for the collection as that sounded good for my purposes as a jukebox to play my music in my woodshop and as background while working around the house. Now I have a series 2 Tivo (with networked home media feature) and a DVD player in the bedroom that will only play MP3 files. What I need is a decent free WMA to MP3 converter software to convert my library over. I know there are plenty of programs out there for $10 to $20, but this will be a one time use and I think it a waste to have it around after the deed is done. As for "trial periods" on demoware, there is always either a limit on the total number of files to convert or a limit of number that can be converted at one sitting.
