Yer your intuition is right, its where one song flows seamlessly into the next without a pause/stop/gap so its ideal for concept albums for example or albums where one song is meant to run naturally into the next without a break in sound

I have a Rio Carbon 6GB now that has an awesome bookmarking feature.
