ANY experiences pertaining to W1000, please share...

rick, if i owned the cd3000 i'd be in the same boat. i really liked the sound of the cd3000's when i heard them -- and if i had the money to purchase another $400 set of cans, the cd3000 would be them.

as SIE pointed out, those are w1000's in the photo. for some reason, the flash really accentuates the shine and luster of the finish they use on the wood. imo, they look better in the photo than in person. but they still look damn good in person. i imagine the lacquer on the w2002 would make it look more like the photoed w1000 -- that is to say, real damn sexy.

sorry radrd -- i guess i forgot you got your w1000s. the 'ole cerebral ganglia in this lobster is getting a bit overloaded these days... please post your impressions when you get the chance.

Actually, the lacquer work on the W2002 is in another league altogether.

Yeah, I agree. Every picture, except for this one, they didn't look anything like the W2002 in color, but in that photo they look like they have the darker wood of the W2002 rather then the lighter wood of the W1000.

I should have my W1000s by the end of this week or maybe on Monday. Obviously, I voted as "(Buyer) Based on what I've read or heard, I've got them on order." I can't wait! (And I find myself measuring my ears daily to make sure they're small enough to fit inside the earcups.

It seems to me that W1000 owners can treat their wood cups so that they can look like the W2002 or better! Naturally, one may want to consult a wood staining expert if one is unsure how to do this.

Since I posted, I guess I should admit I am seriously considering the W1000's for myself.

At first I thought those were the w2002s as well(that red hue).

I voted "(Interested) Regardless of what I have read, I am interested in hearing them."

Some people like them while others hate them. Who wouldn't want to hear some new headphones?

I should have it in a few days. Can't wait! I really liked the W100 but I 'had' to upgrade...

nice bangra. very professional looking shot. i'm very much anticipating your review of the two woodies and the titanium giant.

the w2002 look so damn good in that pic... making the w1000 look pretty lackluster in comparison (imho, of course).

Got home today to find a notice from the Post Office that they tried to delivery my AudioCubes order but I wasn't home.

I'll be picking my headphones up after work tomorrow.

Very nice photo, bangraman. The W2002s do look shinier than the W1000s, but I bet the W1000s are going to look even prettier to me when they're mine, all mine!

Sorry to hear that, Matthew-Spaltro. Surely there will be another pair - or something even better - in your future.
