I just came across this DAC/AMP, it seems to be an updated version, a V2, of a previous model that seems to have received a good reception from a relatively few people that have tried it in the head-fi community. I was wondering if anyone has tried the newer version. The components used sound good, but that does not say much about the actual implementation of course. The price is very tempting, but I just wanted to see if anyone has tried these before jumping the gun.

All input is welcome. :)

Cheers!

Can you guys confirm the spec of yours? I'm looking at one of these at the moment but its reported to come with the following components?

  1. USB: PC2001 USB-B (Plug and Play & Support ASIO)
  2. TENOR TE7022L usb reciever chip, supporting native 24bit 96Khz
  3. AD1852 DAC
  4. TPA6120A2 Headphone Amp chip
  5. opamp : JRC5532DD

Any thoughts?

I did end up buying these. I am driving a takstar 2050, and they are quite good. The only negative is that the volume knob started causing static when turned. Another thing to note is that it seems to sound better when the volume level is set to higher levels on the knob.
