Any experience with Best Buy's geek squad warranty protection?

I made the mistake of letting my dad buy me some Soul SL99s for like my birthday last year. They were a whopping 80 dollars there (50 on amazon). Everything is over priced there. But anyway, I have a feeling since I've had em for a year and have used them heavily, they will break soon. I want o know how the 15$ protection plan he got with them will work.

If they short out from regular use will they replace it with ease?

I have box receipt and case all stored away. But I hear bb are dicks when it comes to returns. Anyone? They seem nice...

I got the protection plan on my Lumia 900. When the screen cracked, I took it in to get replaced. After a week or so, I went to pick it up and they said it couldn't be fixed. So, they gave me a store credit card for the entire price of the phone off contract. $500 or so. While the entire process took about an hour ( everything seems to take way too long there ), I think the protection plan was worth it.
