Sorrel is one of many MP3 makers in Korea that compete with iRiver. AFAIK, Sorrel did supply some MP3/CDPs for Samsung but not for iRiver; actually they might have been a spin-off company of Samsung. The new iRiver products are all non-OEM I believe. As a matter of fact, iRiver used to supply MP3/CDPs to SonicBlue back in the days of SP250, etc. The Sorrel player is reputed to be a pretty good player but falls short of IMP400 in functionalty and sound.

Looks pretty nice and would a good cheaper alternative to Iriver IMP550. If anyone is interested, I also saw another auction (same seller) with a buy it now option at $99 so try not to bid higher than that.
