I want some really portable headphones so I my preference goes to earbuds. I tested the Sennheiser PX 100 and really feel the improved sound when compared with Apple stock phones.

So, I would like to have some recommendations of earphones as good as (or better than) the PX 100. By the way, I don't plan to spend more than 75 US$.

Thanks for all your help!

i hear the mx51's are as good if not better than the px100's. there's also the yuin pk2's and possibly the v-moda remix-m class.

No, not by a longshot. It is a pretty standard earbud. Really nice build quality and design but sound is avarage "bud-sound", nothing special. Fit is extremely importent with earphones. One persons super-bud is anothers worst nightmare.

You won't find any for under $75... or $150.

I haven't heard the Yuins, but I really doubt they're able to match a headphone in terms of SQ.

The only earbud that comes close is the Bose IE's at $99, the rest do not have enough bottom end to compete. If you dont like the PX100's headband then try the KSC-75 clips, or you can go with the UE Super fi 3 and Shure E2 IEM's, if you dont mind the fit and isolation.

Yea, it wouldn't take much. EP-630's? $35.

They are not really buds but they don't go in real far either.

Seconded!

EP-630's and PX100s are the only portable cans I use regularly.

And how do you compare both?

the yuins are really really good for an earbud. the pk1's are amazing amped properly, but the pk2's come very close and they don't need amping. i think you can try out the pk line if you write a review on the boards, or was that something of the past?
