I’m about to buy dac/amp or dac + dedicated amp for my office to use with desktop computer.

From reading many thread, I found out that 0404 usb and zero dac/amp is very good sounding unit for the money and both of them are within by budget.

So, I tried to find the comparison between two, but can’t find it.

Is there a thread where 0404 usb and zero dac/amp are compared?

OR if anyone has or had both unit, can you please compare them?

I’m interested in dac only performance and also their headphone out performance.

Depending on their headphone out performance I’ll decide whether to get dedicated amp or not.

They have been compared here on the boards somewhere. Try another search.
However it seems like the Zero has lost a lot of its popularity after some problems with dirty boards etc. The Audi-GD Compass supposedly is the new FOTM.

I read the thread about The Audi-GD Compass, but it is little more than what I have right now..
also 0404usb + $200 ish DIY dedicated amp seem to be better choice for the money IMO.
