Ebay works out very cheap and lot of the stuff comes with free shipping as well. I've bought replacement batteries for three cameras and two cellphones all for a few bucks each and havent had any issues.

If you're posting because your phone's battery is totally dead and have AT&T, you can pick up a $15 GoPhone and put your SIM in it while you wait for a replacement from ebay. GoPhones work with your plan provided you use your "real" phone's SIM and there isn't any charge beyond the upfront price of the temporary one, ever. Not something that AT&T makes public but I've done it before.

Edit: Plus there's the obvious advantage of having a spare phone on-hand. My GoPhone's SIM is registered but I haven't funded the account yet. The option exists to add money and use it in the event that my normal phone is lost which is always nice.

My battery is still usefull, so I can wait - but thanks for letting me know about the gophone. That could be very usefull, and I do have AT&T.

I guess I'll just go the ebay route. It seems to make more sense.

Thanks for the posts.
