I'm wondering if there is any benefit to balancing grados / alessandros. I understand that the balancing doubles the slew rate and power going to the headphones (and RFI blocking), but would it effect the above headphones? Would it be worth the high cost of going balanced, or would single-ended be a better choice? I really couldn't find any comparisons or whatnot about it, but it'd be pretty helpful if someone did have experience.

Some say it makes all the difference in the world. Speak with Audiofiler, gpalmer, Hirsch among others. I would love to try out a pair but I don't own a balanced amp and I don't want to balance my tone arm.

It's helped out quite a bit on mine. PM me if you'd like more info, I need to get going right now and can't go into detail...
