Well, Audio Technica has finally started marketing to the USA (about time) so I'm curious if anyone has taken the plunge and tried the AD300/500/700/900. They seem to be reasonably priced, are very sexy looking and, if their closed counterparts are any indication, should sound pretty nice as well.

Well, I know there are a few AD900 owners out there (and a couple of AD700 owners as well), since I found them while doing a search here. I seriously considered these models but ended up with the A900LTDs (which I love), as I preferred a closed set of cans.

I have the Ad2k, and ther are a few others now, I but I really haven't seen much metion of the lower AD series at all on head-fi. It would be interesting to hear some impressions though. I have been looking into a cheaper AT phone for protable use , althought the main contenders have been EC7 and such, not a AD series
