New headphone cable for UE, Shure, Westone, not sure whether we should change the cable cause it looks not so great, but this cable is made
in Japan and supplied by Oyaide, we can't change the appearance unless we change to other cable. not so famous but still high quality.

Looks nice. What is the length? What about inclusion of ipod controls for mobile use?

It looks good IMO. Would most definitely get one for my Shures.

Would like to see right angled plug, which Westone's replacement cable has. Straight plug works better with Fiio E11 though.

I agree with the suggestion of a right-angled plug or at least a version that comes with a right-angle plug. I really like the look of the cable. Any estimates on a release date? Also, does it use memory wire?

I guess we can use an adapter like this to turn straight into angled:

But the kind of adapters on the market are bulky and not slim/portable. If Fiio makes a better adapter (or include it with IEM cables), I will definitely buy it.
Another thing about IEM cable is that it has to be flexible. For reference, the Westone IEM cable is good enough.
And I want to know this too: does that Westone style cable (the 2nd one) contain metal memory wires that go around ears?
I actually hate those from my Westone cable, because the metal memory wires create noises by rubbing against my glasses. In my opinion, metal memory wires are not necessary (just add a cable cinch, which seems to be there on Fiio's cables already). Lots of people use VSonic GR07 IEMs without ear-guide, as its cable cinch does a good job in holding cables.
