You might have to make do with some DIY case 'cus no company will have come out with new Nano skins yet...

I suggest some transparent cling-film while you wait for some cheap silicon ones to come out.

Wouldn't at least the silicone cases of the 1G Nano be compatible with the 2G? They have almost identical dimensions, except the 2G is infinitesimally thinner.

i ordered the best skins ever one-piece wrap for my 2G nano. pretty cheap. my wife has an invisible skin on her nano and it's worked great...i understand that the BSE are very similar to IS. i don't see the need for a hard case...my 2 cents.

umm it's aluminum and all you need to protect is the screen so just order a regular nano screen protector

true...somewhat. while the aluminum doesn't scratch easily like the chrome/polycarbonate 1G nano, it can scratch when it's in my pocket along with my keys

plus the scratches are pretty easy to see on the black nano, as well as fingerprints...so i opted for the full body cover. no biggie...

I like this thing.

I sold my Nano version with my 1g Nano, then decided I wanted an 8gb Nano so I bought a new one at the apple store. I didnt realize until I got home that it was designed for a 1g, however it fits pretty close to perfect, so I imagine most flex cases would be the same. Its kind of a shame though, to cover the Nano up as sleek and cool as it looks. I am not sure if I even want a case anymore.

I can confirm that the Marware Sportsuit Basic works with it. Great for the gym since the nano is totally covered but you can still access the clickwheel through a clear plastic. I am using it every day.I emailed a rep from Marware and they said that they found most of the current products EXCEPT the sidewinders work with the 2nd gen nano. And to top it all off the Sportsuits are on sale. Here's their link: http://www.marware.com/intro.php

I use my nano naked with nothing but a screen protector (bought a stack of PDA ones then cut one in fours at Office Max) as protection when it's in my pocket outside of the gym. The case is very durable. Unless you are planning on throwing your keys in next to it. In that case keep it in wrapped in some sort of protection.

Go to a local Apple store and they will let you try out the cases before you buy them. That's how I found out the Marware fit.

Ok, been reading a bit and this one looks really nice:
http://www.ilounge.com/index.php/ipo...pod-nano-ipod/

The incase stuff is available on the applestore website but it's only for the 1st gen nano's..

Here's a belkin that looks ok (at least they have something for the 2nd gen nano), I'm lookin at the flipcase:

http://catalog.belkin.com/IWCatProdu...duct_Id=278441

Here are some other Belkin models for the new nano's:

That Incase one looks great, if they make one for the 2nd gen nano.

Hi nfusion..that is an industrial looking case...To be honest, I love the way the nano looks. It's my first mp3 player and I am enjoying it. My problem is I ride a bike around 6 miles a day and work in the yard a lot..I was just sticking it in my pocket but the volume kept changing from the thing moving around when I walked.

Plus, it'll probably scratch the screem up eventually if I don't get a case..Not looking for anything fancy, just has to protect the thing...Thanks again for the reply.

Use your volume limiter to set the volume to max out at the most you can tolerate safely so you don't blow your eardrums out. It's a cool feature.
