So I have a pair of cans now and I'd like to turn them into a microphone for casual gaming purposes. I was planning on buying the modmic by Antlion, but they don't have them in stock (unless you get the 3.0 which looks a bit too delicate for me). Their next stuff isn't coming out until February or so which is a bit too long of a time frame than what I'm looking for.
 
Do any of you guys have suggestions for quality attachable/detachable mics in the $30-$50 price range?

Have you looked at the boompro by vmoda, also check out the Moov mic
