Hello,
I have a pair of headphones for work but are not comfortable, not noise isolating, and other issues. It has dongle with answer/close call button.
I could not find this kind of a dongle. The headphones I want to use have a 3.5mm jack. I could get a Sabrent USB adapter so it could be connected via USB.
The ones I found have proprietary connectors.
I currently use the Sennheiser 380PRO. If there are any headphones with that kind of dongle it would be ok if they're a little smaller, but I'd like the biggest I could get.
Some of these headsets can get pretty expensive.
Can a dongle be borrowed from a headset that has the button, and solder it to some 3.5mm adapters? How is the answer/close signal get transmitted?
Or get a dongle with a proprietary connector and replace that connector with a USB connector?
