Yes, it's more than just stacking dacs, though that is the most important change. Personally i've replaced the opamp and replaced the powersupply caps with some Black Gates. In addition, i've added on some feet on the bottom and put electric tape over the window.

Interesting timing for this thread . . . I just sold my DAC and am waiting for a new source, so pulled out my D25 Turbo and hooked it up to my tube amp and PS-1s. I forgot just how great this little source sounds; more than fills the hole in my system while I wait.

Mine has all the mods mentioned in this thread and originally prescribed by mekanoplastik and Puppyslug (cheers, my friends). The PS caps are now dual 470 Black Gates. Additionally, I replaced the headphone coupling caps with 220 Black gates. Headphone out or line out, this player sounds big.
