Some folks tape around the circumference of their K501 pads to get better bass. Now my HD590's pads are well-used and very soft and sloppy, so it occurred to me that the same measure should give them some more stability and yield a larger driver-ear distance. And indeed, it does. Didn't notice any changes in the bass department, though sound seems slightly cleaner overall. Sorry, no pics, maybe in 2 days or so. (It does look kinda ugly, but I mean, who cares?)
