Hi,
Right now i have the AV710 soundcard, however i am planning to upgrade to probably a PPA amp and HD650/600. I was wondering if my soundcard is going to be the weak link? Should i go ahead and get the 0404 card? any advice?

Even with the 0404 card, your source will be the weakest link. Also for the 1212m. Or RME. Or any soundcard, basically (rule of balance: For mid-end setups, cost of source > cost of amp > cost of phones). But yes, definitely get the 0404. It has good synergy with the Senns IMO.

Def get the 0404, try to get it off another hi-fier that is getting a 1212m. I got one for cheap. And I love every note!
