Ok, I bit the bullet and ordered the shure e3's. I was going to get the e2's, but for $149+tax, I figured what the heck.

Thank you very much for all your advice and help. Hopefully Joe Bloggs is right and I won't need to reencode all my aac128s.

Now if I could get any of you to head over to the music forum and help me with this question I would greatly appreciate it.
