Hi, I have all of my music encoded in apple lossless, so is there any other player like foobar2k that supports it. I don't have all of the discs to re-encode so if that is the solution, i'd rather not. from apple lossless is it safe to convert to like FLAC without any quality loss? the last time I used Flac it screwed over all of my tags =( any thoughts would be appreciated.

Yes, you can easily transcode between the different lossless codecs.
No data (aka sound quality) will be lost, and the tags can be transfered as well.
